i’m sure pansies everywhere are breathing a huge sigh of relief and cancelling all those self esteem classes as we talk!
I say hurrah for pansies! In the past I have bought overly bred cyclamen for winter bedding, which does indeed look fab when first planted, but flops into an unsightly mess at the first signs of frost. Pansies on the other hand soldier on throughout the winter and continue to be enthusiastic flowerers right through into spring. Don’t pooh-pooh the pansies!
